Flo Rida, born Tramar Dillard, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license in Miami Beach, Fla. on June 9.

According to TMZ, the rapper was driving a red and black Bugatti, and was pulled over at around 3:30AM for swerving in his lane. The 'Low' singer failed a field sobriety test and was arrested on suspicion of DUI. His blood alcohol level was .185, more than twice the legal limit, police said.

Police also cited the rapper when they found that his driver's license had been suspended for failing to pay a traffic fine. The gossip site says that the hip-hop star tried to convince the officer that he was okay to drive home, but to no avail.

The 31-year-old was reportedly at a birthday party at the Miami hotspot Dream before leaving the nightclub his car, which is worth an estimated $1.7 million.

Flo Rida is best known for his smash song, 'Low,' featuring T-Pain. Last year, the hip-hop star was nominated for a Grammy Award for his 2009 album 'R.O.O.T.S.' In November 2010, he released his third album, 'Only One Flo (Part 1),' and is expected to unveil 'Only One Rida (Part 2)' this fall.
