Flo Rida is one of the most ubiquitous hit makers today. You pretty much can't go a day (or, let's be real, an hour) without hearing one of his tracks on Top 40 radio or at a club. What's remarkable is that every single song, while having similar elements -- a killer beat, infectious hook and signature flow -- has its own distinctive elements, whether it be a unique voice on the hook like Sia in 'Wild Ones' or a tongue-in-cheek theme like 'Hey Jasmin.'

It's these combinations that make Flo Rida, born Tramar Dillard, genius. The ever-busy Sunshine State native caught up with PopCrush for a brief chat, and despite his tank-like build and infinite swagger (he even raps about being arrogant in 'Club Can't Handle Me'), Flo remains humble, super polite and rather soft spoken. Find out why he's so happy all the time -- and how he really feels about a certain footwear oft worn with Apple Bottom jeans.

Your songs are so upbeat and positive. Are you ever in a bad mood?
I have my moments, but I'm usually happy all the time. Sometimes I just get tired, you know? But I have my dream coming true and I'm partying all around the world -- and that's my job, to party. Can't complain really at all.

Your new record is called 'Wild Ones.' Since you party for a living, you probably have a lot of stories! What's the wildest thing you've ever done?
I jumped out of a helicopter for a video!

Was that your first time skydiving? Were you scared?
It was the first time out of a helicopter. I'm not afraid of heights, but I mean, doing something like that -- that's my wildest dream for sure. That's definitely the wildest thing I've ever done.

What's up with Live Jasmin in your 'Hey Jasmin' video? Is there a deal there or what?
I mean, the song is really just about a few people I dealt with ... Some ladies, you know? It's just something I like.

You've done remixes of Rihanna's songs 'Where Have You Been' and 'We Found Love.' Do you do those on your own or do you guys work together on them?
I basically do them on my own. I use it as an exercise in the studio. I'll throw some verses together based on the song and release it if it's hot at the moment.

You've worked with a slew of artists. Who's your favorite collaborator?
I've been very lucky to work with some of the best artists out there, and everyone is different, so it's hard to narrow it down to just one ... I really like working with David Guetta.

When you and David Guetta collaborate, how does that come together? Does he come to you with a beat, or do you show him your lyrics first?
It's a combination of both usually. Sometimes I'll be inspired by his production, and other times he'll work with the ideas I come up with. It's usually back and forth.

I have a girl crush on Kesha, who was  featured on 'Right Round.' Was she cool to work with?
She's very creative and very energetic. I knew she had star quality, and the song was just an amazing accomplishment. It made it into the Guinness Book of World Records! (Note: 'Right Round' was the highest-selling one-week digital single, with more than 636,000 downloads sold in its debut week in 2009. It sold 1 million downloads in its first two weeks, making it one of the fastest-selling singles ever. 'Right Round' has sold nearly 12 million singles to date worldwide.)

Speaking of star power, how do you discover your artists for your label, International Music Group?
I look for star quality, but they also have to be easy to work with as a person. I like young talent. It's not just about talent, though, but also drive and faith to succeed.

How'd you like performing 'Wild Ones' with Juliet Simms on 'The Voice'?
Sia has a very different and unique but amazing voice, so I love that track. But Juliet's fans definitely enjoyed hearing her sing it. She's very talented and she did a very good job on the song, it was fun.

How did the Wrestlemania gig come together?
They (World Wrestling Entertainment) reached out to record company about it. I had an amazing time, performed some hit records.

Are you a pro-wrestling fan? Who's your favorite wrestler?
I had a lot of favorites early on growing up, especially Hulk Hogan and the Road Warrior.

Before you go, we have to ask: How do you really feel about boots with the fur?
I mean, if it's freezing out, they'll keep a girl warm.
