Florence + the Machine opened tonight's (April 24) elimination episode of 'The Voice' with a soul-stirring rendition of the new single 'No Light, No Light' from the excellent 'Ceremonials.' Flo was her usual ethereal and angelic self, thanks to her vocal delivery and her flowy white gown. If anyone knows how to put on a gorgeous and arty performance, it's the redheaded goddess we call Florence Welch.

While she sang, Flo was surrounded by similarly dressed dancers. We hope that contestant Lindsey Pavao was watching carefully, since she has been aping Flo's style here and there this season. Cee Lo Green's team was featured as part of the performance, as well, which had to make each member's life. It's not every day that you get the opportunity (of a lifetime) to perform with a superstar.

While we are used to pop stars gracing the stage and performing on the elimination and results episodes of reality shows, Flo is in a class all by herself. She's certainly not a standard issue, garden variety pop star, thanks to that haunting voice and her unique look and style.

That's what we call starting off on the right foot.
