Florence + the Machine served up her sophomore album ‘Ceremonials’ last week and she capped off a busy release week with an appearance on the British edition of ‘X Factor.’ Flo sang her new single ‘Shake It Out’ and we have but one word for it: Wow! No wonder the new album rocket launched its way to the top of the U.K. sales charts.

Flo performed against an ornate background behind her while wearing a long, cream column gown with massive, bride-like trains and bold, geometric shoulder pads. Her signature red hair was wavy and loose. Overall, Flo was a vision. But it was that voice, that voice that really had us gasping for breath. She’s that good and when she opens her mouth, it's like birds are singing.

Flo sang 'Shake It Out' with a choir behind her and other angelic cherubs dressed in white sheaths, thanks to her dress trains, surrounding her. She has got her own unique image and look, but when she throws that vibrato out there with the "Shake it out" chorus, we melt and are moved. We could be wearing cement shoes and Flo's voice would still move us.

Florence Welch doesn't need much other than a dress and her voice to attract attention! With each song, performance and video, she elevates her diva status another notch. The British version of 'X Factor' was lucky to have Flo grace the stage. Hopefully the ratings went through the roof, too!
