At 23, Adele is at the top of her game, and her unmistakable voice has always been a head-turning talent. This is confirmed by video footage of the singer at age 16, casually flaunting her skills while hanging out with her friends.

Thanks to clips drudged up by The Sun, fans can hear the chanteuse during her days at the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. She's shown messing around, playing guitar, laughing and smoking cigarettes, too. Aside from Adele quitting smokes, it's clear that not much has changed in seven years!

According to the UK site, the videos were shot by a former classmate named Allan Rose, who recalls the 'Rolling in the Deep' singer as being a "fun-loving, loyal and talented pal," The Sun reports.

"It was clear she was going to be a star," Rose said. "Some people were that step above everyone else. And Adele was one of them."

Since opening in 1991, the state-funded BRIT School in Croyden, South London has not only acted as Adele's alma mater -- the likes of Leona Lewis, the Kooks, Amy Winehouse, Imogen Heap, Katy B. and Jessie J have roamed its halls over the years, as well.
