Frankie Muniz is not having a great month.

Last week the 32-year-old actor took to Twitter to vent about a pretty life-changing incident we don't think anyone could have predicted.

According to his tweets, while Muniz was in France for his Uncle Skip's funeral, his home was destroyed by a massive flood. The culprit? His cat! The feline accidentally turned on a faucet in the star's five-story brownstone, causing numerous floors to completely flood, destroying walls, artwork, furniture, family photos, and more.

"I'm devastated and exhausted from a tough week with the loss of my Uncle Skip, 45 hours of travel to and from France to walk in to find this disaster," the actor tweeted. "I cried more yesterday and today then in my whole life combined."

While the outrageous occurrences might sound like a long-lost episode of his famous sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, the events are sadly not out of a fictional sitcom. "You wouldn't believe the destruction," Muniz told his followers after admitting, "I know this sounds ridiculous."

As if his entire home flooding wasn't enough, the bad luck seemed to follow him to the hotel he and his girlfriend relocated to. Two days after discovering the flood, Muniz tweeted, "Just woke up to fire alarms and had to evacuate the hotel...This has bene an eventful week."

Whew. We're sending positive vibes your way, Frankie! We hope your luck changes soon and wish you well on rebuilding your home in the coming months. (PS: you need to have a little chat with that cat.)
