Season two 'American Idol' contestant Frenchie Davis made a return to the small screen tonight by performing Katy Perry's 'I Kissed a Girl' as a contestant on 'The Voice.'

The 31-year-old singer, who was booted from 'Idol' after it was discovered that she had posed for topless photos several years earlier, is making another go of it on 'The Voice.' "I believe that regrets are a waste of time," she explained before her audition. "['The Voice'] is a chance for me to continue to go for my dream and perhaps this time being remembered for my talent."

For a little while, it looked like Davis' rendition of 'I Kissed a Girl' wasn't going to win over any of the coaches. However, toward the end of the performance, Christina Aguilera finally hit her button and turned around. While the other coaches chose not to represent Davis, they were impressed with her vocal ability. Since Aguilera was the only one to pick her, Davis' decision was already made for her.

With Aguilera as her coach, Davis sees 'The Voice' as a chance at redemption. "I had given up on pursuing a recording career,' admitted Davis. 'And [now] I am so excited."
