'Frozen 2' is "in the works," according to actress Idina Menzel, who voices Queen Elsa in the mega-hit Disney movie.

While 'Frozen' has taken over Christmas (Elsa has surpassed Barbie in popularity), Disney World (a 'Frozen'-themed ride is being built in the Norway section of Epcot), TV's 'Once Upon a Time' and households with kids everywhere, this is the closest we've gotten to a confirmation that a sequel is maybe on its way.

In an interview with the Telegraph, Idina was asked about 'Frozen Fever' -- an animated short that has been planned for a Spring 2015 release -- as well as rumors about an upcoming full-length sequel and a Broadway musical adaptation of the film.

"They're all in the works, ha ha!" the actress, best known for her Broadway career prior to voicing Elsa in 'Frozen,' responded.

Although she didn't give much more of a scoop than that, she did reveal that she'd like to be involved with the alleged 'Frozen 2.' "Not the stage show," she clarified. "I don’t know what will happen with that -- but the movie hopefully. We’ll see. I’m just going along for the ride."

Of course, this is all still just in the speculation stage. Based on these quotes, she implied that 'Frozen 2' is possibly happening, but until Disney issues an official announcement, we'll just have to be satisfied with singing along to 'Let It Go' on repeat.
