‘Glee’ Cast, ‘Born This Way’ – Song Review

'Glee' goes Gaga on this week's 90-minute episode, featuring a New Directions performance of Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way.'

The 'Glee' version of 'Born This Way' is virtually identical to the anthemic original, right down to the spoken-word sections. The singers enthusiastically embrace Gaga's hook, "I'm beautiful in my way, cause God makes no mistakes / I'm on the right track, baby, I was born this way."

If anything, 'Glee''s chorus harmonies are bigger and more robust than on Gaga's chart-topper. There's strength in numbers, and the comforting message of the song almost takes on a new level of power since several people are singing it, instead of just one.

You can see the 'Glee' cast perform 'Born This Way' on tomorrow's special 90-minute episode on FOX, which also features covers of songs by TLC and Keane.
