Individually, Rachel and Blaine steal the show with every solo on 'Glee,' winning the audience over and reminding gleeks everywhere why they're hot commodities. Somehow, however, when the diva and divo team up for a duet in the form of the latest holiday release, 'Extraordinary Merry Christmas,' it manages to fall flat.

"The snow is high so come inside, I want to hear you say to me..." Blaine (Darren Criss) leads in, and Rachel (Lea Michele) follows, "It's a very, very merry, merry Christmas / Gonna party until Santa grants my wishes / Got my halo on, I know what I want / It's who I'm with / It's an extraordinary merry Christmas."

There's something sticky sweet about this track that sucks you in, but as it drags on it just gets cheesier and cheesier. For whatever reason, it sounds a bit like a 'Jingle Bells'-infused version of Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' and unfortunately, that's not as much of a win as you might expect.

Who doesn't love to be happy around the holidays? Duh, everyone does. But there's something unnatural about being quite this happy. 'Extraordinary Merry Christmas' is one of two original songs on the new 'Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album Volume 2.' While we have yet to hear what else 'New Directions' penned, our hopes aren't terribly high.

In short, this is the kind of song that would make you change the radio station.
