‘Glee’ Cast, ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)’

When 'Glee' returns on Nov. 1 with the 'Pot O' Gold' episode, ex-Warbler Blaine Anderson will try his hand at another song from Katy Perry, whose hit 'Teenage Dream' became a 'Glee' sensation after the Dalton Academy Warblers tackled it in Season 2. Coming up, Blaine and Artie will duet on 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' with the help of the other glee clubbers.

Ironically (or not), both Darren Criss and Kevin McHale appeared in Perry's 'T.G.I.F.' music video, which also features famous faces Rebecca Black and Hanson. In Season 3, Episode 3, Blaine and Artie will do a number on their own rendition of the song.

While the 'Glee' version of this retro-sounding catchy tune is subdued compared to the original, and lacks the energy that the 'I Kissed a Girl' singer never fails to provide, we love the idea of all of McKinley High sockhopping around the courtyard to this one while Blaine and Artie, with their signature slicked-over hairstyles, sing into their hairbrushes.
