'Glee' star Darren Criss stopped by Perez Hilton's birthday bash to sing and give his best wishes -- but maybe not his best delivery. Criss performed an over-the-top version Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' for party-goers, and some suggested that maybe the singer had a few too many drinks before hitting the stage.

He may portray a high school student on television, but in real life, Criss is 24 years old, so there's no real scandal here even if alcohol was involved, as a few are speculating.

Honestly, we love the energy and passion Criss put into his Perry rendition, but it's clearly a far cry from Warblers standards. If someone did spike the punch, the singer -- who plays Blaine on 'Glee' -- isn't admitting that he finished off the bowl. "You know you've made it when the main discussion over one of your performances is whether or not you were drunk. #Iwasactuallysleepwalking," he tweeted Tuesday.

Criss looks pretty alert to us, and actually puts his all -- and then some -- into the 'Teenage Dream' performance. So tell us, what do you think? Did Criss dabble in the free alcohol before taking the mic, or is he simply ... Sleep walking?
