The Dalton Academy Warblers never get more than a few minutes of face time in any given 'Glee' episode, but when they do, they put it to good use. The Warblers' cover songs have soared in popularity, reaching No. 1 chart spots just like their New Directions competition -- and in April, the all-boys glee club will release an album of their own, according to Darren Criss.

Criss, who plays lead Warbler Blaine, appeared on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' yesterday morning to chat about his role on the successful FOX show, and spilled the big news in passing. "It's fun being a Warbler, it's kind of like being on our own little show," Criss says, joking with Regis that maybe they'd branch into a 'Glee'-like show of their own.

When prompted to talk about the upcoming CD release, Criss confirmed that "yes," it's a go. "I've been told there's going to be an all-Warbler CD sometime in April," the 24-year old dishes. The Warblers have done hot covers like Train's 'Hey, Soul Sister,' Destiny's Child's 'Bills, Bills, Bills,' Robin Thicke's 'When I Get You Alone,' and Paul McCartney's 'Silly Love Songs'  -- all of which will appear on the upcoming album. The CD will also include their cover of Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream,' which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Digital Songs chart, and in its first week fared better than any 'Glee' release before it.

On tonight's 'Sexy' episode of 'Glee,' the Warblers try their hand at Neon Trees' 'Animal' -- which will also appear on their debut spring album.
