'Glee' took over 'Ellen' today, when Darren Criss, as well as the Dalton Academy Warblers and Gwyneth Paltrow, appeared as guests on the talk show.

Criss and the Warblers, dressed in character, laid down their famous rendition of Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' -- which has become the biggest digital download in the history of the FOX show. The 24-year-old musical actor then sat down to chat with Ellen DeGeneres about how he recently attended the Coachella music festival with his 'Glee' buddies Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Harry Shum Jr. (Mike), to catch his brother's performance. Criss sported body paint and nail polish as he jammed out to Freelance Whales, and shared the photo evidence with Ellen as proof.

Criss also spilled that not only is he going on tour with 'Glee,' the Warblers are tagging along, too. "I'm going on tour with 'Glee,' and the Warblers were just recently invited along as well," he told Ellen, adding that his 'school uniform' is a bit hot. "It's always fun singing and dancing in layers … It's very tough."

Gwyneth Paltrow, who was also a guest on Friday's show, laid down a montage of hits to prove to Ellen that 'Glee' is realistic -- and that she's got the pipes to rock her role as Holly Holiday.

"Well, I haven’t signed anything, but I’m thinking about it," she spilled to Ellen about the possibility of recording her own album. "I kind of have to get my head around the concept of it and how I would want to do it. Do it in a right way. It’s hard to think of switching because all the singing I’ve been doing has been coming out of 'Country Strong' or 'Glee.' So I think, how would I do that? Just a record by myself feels a little scary to me. I would like to, in theory, but we’ll see."

'Glee' returns Tuesday, April 26 with the 'Born This Way' episode.
