Following in the footsteps of co-stars Matthew Morrison and Mark Salling, Naya Rivera is the next 'Glee' star to ink an individual recording contract. The 24-year-old has reportedly signed with Columbia records to release her debut solo album.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Rivera is set to begin recording her first effort after the 'Glee Live! In Concert!' tour wraps on June 18. While Gleeks are undoubtedly curious to hear the actress' new tunes, it's far too soon to tell when the album will be released.

The California native's 'Glee' character, Santana, is known for her saucy tongue-lashings on the hit FOX series. She has covered everything from Amy Winehouse to Fleetwood Mac on the show, so it will be interesting to see what genres she'll explore on her first album.

Salling released his second solo record, 'Pipe Dreams,' in October 2010, while Morrison recently unveiled his self-titled debut on May 10. Lea Michele and Amber Riley have addressed recording solo albums in the press, but they have yet to ink any official deals.
