‘Glee’: ‘New York’ Episode Song List

Parting is such sweet sorrow, and as the Season 2 finale of 'Glee' quickly approaches, we're stocking up on tissues and Bonbons. In next week's 'New York' episode, our beloved New Directions head to the Big Apple to (hopefully) take over Nationals like King Kong wrecked shop on the Empire State Building.

If anything good can come of our favorite show ever ending for the season, it's a whole new list of songs to enjoy throughout the summer. Not only will we get a mash-up and a Top 40 cover from the glee club(s) at Nationals, we'll have a brand new set of 'Glee' original songs thrown at us.

New Directions will shout their love of the big city from the rooftops with a blend of Madonna's 'I Love New York' with Frank Sinatra's 'New York, New York,' and at the big competition, an all girls show choir will really deliver with a cover of Usher's 2004 club hit, 'Yeah!'

Not only that, 'Glee' will grab a few more classic musical tunes before they draw the curtains on Season 2. Rachel and Kurt will duet on 'For Good' from 'Wicked,' and for whatever reason, New Directions boys Puck, Sam, Artie and Mike will tap into Lady and the Tramp's 'Bella Notte.' Le cute!

Like good gleeks, our hearts pump faster at the thought of more 'Glee' original songs. New Directions will tackle Nationals like they did Regionals, with unique tunes like 'Light Up the World' and 'Pretending,' sung by Rachel and Finn. Somehow, Vocal Adrenaline got the scoop that McKinley was using a secret weapon -- their glee club, with Sunshine Corazon (Charice) will perform an original tune as well, called 'As Long as You're There.' (Psst ... We're onto you, Jesse St. James!)

We can't wait for the bittersweet 'New York' Season 2 finale of 'Glee,' even if it means saying goodbye to the gang for a few months. The 'New York' Nationals episode airs on Tuesday, May 24.
