Justin Timberlake kept his promise by escorting Corporal Kelsey De Santis to the Marine Corps Ball in Richmond, Va., and he was a true gentleman.

In an interview with 'Good Morning America,' De Santis, the 30-year-old Marine who scored JT as a date via YouTube video, said the pop star didn't try any funny stuff at the end of the evening. "As we said our goodbyes, it was me and our entire group,” she dished in her first interview since the event. “We just all gave hugs and parted our ways. He was a complete gentleman.”

While De Santis thought she would have the moment of a lifetime, it was Timberlake who walked away with the unforgettable experience. On his website, he said he was "moved" by what transpired that night, and "blown away" by the demeanor of his company.

Timberlake added that the ball “turned out to be one of the most moving evenings I’ve ever had," and the experience, including watching footage from Pearl Harbor and the September 11 attacks, almost brought him to tears.

It was an emotional night for De Santis, as well. “Right after the ceremony, we kind of locked eyes and we were both grateful for the things our country stands for and just everything that our military has done for us,” she added. “Not only the look on his face but also the look on everyone else’s face and the feeling in the entire room.”

We have no doubt that it was a night to remember -- for everyone.
