When it comes to supporting other music artists, Grimes truly is an (art) angel.

The "California" singer shared a message for her haters—including, apparently, Spin magazine—today on Instagram (August 28), slamming those who rallied against "Go," her needlessly controversial 2014 collaboration with BloodPop (formerly known as Blood Diamonds), while celebrating the producer's work on Lady Gaga's forthcoming single, "Perfect Illusion."

Re-posting a photo of BloodPop in the studio with Gaga, Mark Ronson and Tame Impala, Grimes wrote, "All the haters hated when we made 'Go' and now look at @bloodpop writing hits with the best. So proud of u [sic] Mike."

The musician-songwriter also took a pointed jab at Spin, which she claimed fabricated the rumor that she didn't like "Go," a song which was originally written for Rihanna and reportedly received mixed feedback from Grimes' fans after some claimed she was pandering to the radio.

"How curious that Spin Media who started the rumour that I hate 'Go' and tried to publicly pit me against my best friend is now for sale cuz no [one] reads their hateful clickbait," she added in the caption. "I guess hard work and perseverance pay off better than attacking and harassing people who actually make stuff. In the end all that negativity was just a #perfectillusion"

Mic. Drop.
