On tonight's (April 3) elimination episode of 'The Voice,' Gym Class Heroes performed 'A-- Back Home,' their hit single featuring flame-haired goddess Neon Hitch. They kicked things into high gear from the get-go.

It was a visual cultural collision, with Katy Perry's ex Travie McCoy rocking a flannel button down and a baseball cap pulled low over his eyes while the Hitch wore a strange (but likely fashion forward, in someone's mind) top that looked like a piece of vintage furniture or a bistro chair. It was white, with detailed shoulder pads and protrusions.

GCH and Neon Hitch performed within the first 10 minutes of the show, getting the crowd all kinds of hyped, with the members of coach Adam Levine's talented team singing in the background and providing support. We thought for sure Levine, who sings the "My heart's a stereo" hook on GCH's smash hit 'Stereo Hearts,' would hop on the stage, grab a mic and rock a chorus or do an impromptu mashup with Travie, but it didn't happen. Pft. He must have been in "coach only" mode tonight, even though his team doesn't take the stage for the live shows until next week.

Gym Class Heroes are always a good time and tonight was no different.
