Hailee Steinfeld -- an Academy Award nominated actress who also happens to be a member of Taylor Swift's ever-expanding collective of famous friends -- is really giving her all to her new pop star career.

Making her late-night debut on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Hailee performed her debut single "Love Myself" with the kind of confidence and self-assuredness a song that is, in part, so blatantly about female masturbation demands. She's played an acoustic version of the track before, which is great for showcasing her vocals, but it's a pop song more fitting of a full production, and Hailee knows it.

She also posted a photo to Instagram yesterday (October 6), referencing the first time she appeared on The Tonight Show as a 14-year-old, back when she was nominated for her role in 2010's True Grit. Oh, and she met Lady Gaga, who appeared on the same episode. Casual.

Hailee captioned the photo, "Tonight I was the musical guest on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. My first time on the show I was 14 years old and never thought I'd be back to perform my first single. Love you long time Jimmy! Thanks for having me. :) PS I met the legendary Lady Gaga and am so inspired by her words of wisdom."
