Praise be! The Handmaid's Tale has been renewed for a third season.

Hulu announced the news on Wednesday (May 2), after the hit show broke records with its Season 2 premiere last week, which doubled in viewership.

The dystopian drama is based off Margaret Atwood's 1985 novel of the same name and stars Elisabeth Moss (June Osborne/Offred), Alexis Bledel (Emily/Ofglen), Joseph Fiennes (Commander Fred Waterford), Yvonne Strahovski (Serena Joy Waterford), Madeline Brewer (Janine/Ofdaniel), Ann Dowd (Aunt Lydia), O-T Fagbenle (Luke Bankole), Max Minghella (Nick Blaine), Samira Wiley (Moira/Ruby) and Amanda Brugel (Rita).

The show's first season was widely popular among viewers and critics alike when it premiered in 2017. It won eight prime-time Emmys and made history as the first ever streaming video on-demand service series to win both an Emmy and Golden Globe for Best Drama Series.

HBO's sci-fi thriller, Westworld, has also been renewed for a third season. That news came on Tuesday (May 1), just over a week after its second season premiere aired.

Although only two episodes of the second season have been released thus far, the internet has been buzzing with fan theorieswhere the show is going this season, and what in the hell the door is. The sci-fi hit always has its viewers guessing, and usually picking their jaws up off the floor by the end of the season.
