Hanson Announces Slipknot Cover Album Project on April Fools Day

In another April Fools joke (we think!), pop-rock trio Hanson has announced that they will record a Slipknot cover album.

"I think, for us, every year as you take on a different project, you just search for something that feels like it's stretching you musically," 25-year-old Zac says. Adds Taylor, "Slipknot is kind of an underrated band!"

In this 'announcement' video, posted by VH1, Hanson went so far as to give us taste of their first recording of a Slipknot song, 'Wait and Bleed.' "We just felt like we needed to reinvent ourselves as a band a little bit with this kind of a project, you know," Zac continues. "Show people that we can do something different."

Although, the brothers have yet to confirm or deny that their 'upcoming' Slipknot cover album is an April Fools prank, we're not buying it ... Yet.
