If you shed a few tears as the credits rolled after the last ‘Harry Potter’ movie, then this news is for you. The main HP trio banded together once again to film new, never-before-seen footage for Universal Studios’ latest and greatest theme park ride.

This is not a dream. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint — also known as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley — are “regrouping for one last adventure,” MTV learned from Alan Gilmore, art director for the ‘Harry Potter’ movies and now the theme park ride.

Universal Studios Orlando will be opening the new ride, ‘Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts,’ sometime this summer in the already ridiculously cool theme park, ‘The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.’ If you weren’t dying to visit before, we’d bet you are now.

The ride is inspired by the series’ goblin-run Gringotts Bank, and as such will include a fire-breathing dragon and goblin bank tellers. And, of course, the new scenes filmed by the returning actors.

“It’s all new, it’s a brand new film,” Alan shared, “and it’s absolutely film quality, involving the film’s team, a merging of the film team and the Universal production team.”

Also playing a part in the reunion scenes are Warwick Davis as the goblin Griphook, Helena Bonham-Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange, and Ralph Fiennes as Lord Voldemort — or He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, as Alan insists on referring to him.

The director added, “I want to walk in, and feel like they’re actually in London, or actually in Gringotts.”

With all of the amazing details and thought being put into the project, it sounds like Alan and his team will hit the mark.
