Hayley Kiyoko is back with the new single "I Wish" and its spellbinding music video.

The pop star, who released her debut album Expectations last year, dropped a catchy new track about how to move on from unrequited love. The clip sees Kiyoko and her plaid-skirted friends—which includes actress Maia Mitchell—perform a witchy spell to help her get over an ex who acts like she doesn't exist to her anymore.

She then gulps down a potion and is transported to an alternate reality, where she not only realizes her self-worth but shows off her killer dance moves. "We butt heads / 'Cause you're paying him attention/ And you're selfish with your affection," Kiyoko sings. I wish, I wish, I wish I found love (Ohh)"

"It’s really hard when you love someone who doesn’t feel the same way," the singer explained in a statement. "In this video, I wanted to bring to life the support group we all need when our love for someone isn’t being reciprocated. Having a strong support system of friends is so important to remind us we are loved and we are not alone.”

We can definitely expect more music from Kioyko very soon. Aside from a new album, she made a cameo in Taylor Swift’s star-studded "You Need to Calm Down" music video last month, in which she teased a possible collaboration.
