Riding high alongside powerful pop cover girls like Katy Perry and Beyonce, Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams is the newest songbird to beautify the cover of Cosmopolitan.

The punk-rock princess posed for the May 2011 issue of the women's health magazine, and her unconventional allure allows her to maintain the perfect balance of sweet and sexy in the photo spread.

On the cover, the fiery 22-year-old poses in a strapless, blue polka-dotted mini-dress. Williams' blazing red locks fall in loose curls around her face, and she wears a cuff bracelet and jeweled necklace.

Williams tweeted about how excited she was to see herself on the cover of the issue. She wrote, "What ME?! On the cover of Cosmo? noooo... YESSSSSS! It's true! I'll be on the May issue. Gap teeth and all!"

In the issue, the 'Playing God' singer discusses everything from her childhood, to "High School Melodrama." Williams also talks about her rise to fame from a simple country gal to one of the most well-known female pop-rock vocalists of today.

Although her band Paramore just had two of its original members quit, it is obvious that Williams will do just fine either way. The songstress has already released some solo material, including her leaked demo of 'In the Mourning' and her Grammy-nominated duet with rapper B.o.B on his song 'Airplanes.'
