Iggy Azalea Announces Britney Spears Duet [VIDEO]

Holy upcoming Iggy Azalea/Britney Spears collab, Batman!

The 'Fancy' rapper dropped the Britney bombshell last night (Dec. 14) during an interview at Boston radio station K108's Jingle Ball, revealing that the duet will be the pop icon's next single -- and it's set for release in early 2015. Eek!

Iggy explained that she'll be spending New Year's in Vegas, popping by Britney's 'Piece of Me' residency before performing her own show in Sin City.

"Hopefully I'll get to officially meet her because we have a song that is gonna be her first single coming out next year," Iggy casually revealed, leaving the interviewer stunned. (Check out her revelation in the video above, starting at around the 3:40 mark.)

"You said you have a duet with Britney," he repeated, mind clearly blown.  "How did that come together?"

"I do. It's awesome," Iggy replied excitedly. "She said that she would like to work with me in an interview and they kind of reached out and we recorded a few different things and one of those ended up just being undeniably great, and hopefully, I think everybody will get to hear it at the beginning of next year. So I'm excited."

So, considering the fact that Iggy and Britney have a collab coming out and the Aussie rapper will literally be in the audience of Brit's Vegas show, does this mean we can expect the debut performance of the track on New Year's Eve?

"No, I doubt it..." Iggy revealed, laughing. "I don't think she'd debut it like that, but I'm super excited for it, I think people are going to really love it and enjoy it. I think it's a really fun track."

We. Cannot. Wait. Is it 2015 yet?!
