Iggy Azalea has been laying fairly low in the wake of her canceled Great Escape Tour —though by her own reports, she's keeping busy. Work on her sophomore album is "going great and moving along," she's planning a wedding to L.A. Laker Nick Young and this week she shared an update on that rumored collaboration with Demi Lovato.

The biggest news is that it actually is happening — but in a surprising move, Iggy says it won't be a single. Maybe the rapper still feels burned by all of the "Pretty Girls" sales pressure?

Undeterred by the news, Iggy's fan goes on to ask if she's done features for any other artists during her recent step away from the spotlight (well, she's sort of stepped away. She's still doing press, holding forth on her nose job and her past as a target of bullying). In a word: Nope! "No, I'm not doing any features until my own stuff is out. Demi is the exception to that because she's my close friend," she replied.

So there you have it — the collab is just a casual favor for a close friend, who also happens to be a much-loved pop singer. There's no word yet on an official release date for Demi's upcoming album, but she told Ryan Seacrest that she'd love to get Iggy in on the project: "I am so excited not only to be one of her bridesmaids, she’s one of my closets friends, and it would be an honor to have her on my album. So, I’m trying to figure out which song right now, actually, to put her on. But it will definitely happen.”
