Iggy Azalea Performs ‘Fancy’ and ‘Beg For It’ at the 2014 American Music Awards [VIDEO]

T.I. made the perfect introduction for Iggy Azalea's performance at the 2014 American Music Awards by saying that women can definitely lead the charge in hip-hop, and considering what we saw from Iggy tonight, we back that claim 100 percent!

Iggy was joined by Charli XCX for the first half of her performance, where the two sang 'Fancy'. They were seriously dressed to impress with Iggy in a suit and tie, and Charli in a black, pin-striped crop top and high-waisted shorts. Both played the parts of totally in control, powerful women -- which, we suppose, is exactly what they are off stage. Our favorite part? That cheeky podium Iggy was standing behind.

Then Iggy seamlessly transitioned into her current single 'Beg For It' -- complete with an outfit change that showed off her totally enviable curves. One thing we seriously love about the performance is the fact that Iggy wore sneakers the whole time. Sounds crazy, right? But considering just how much she was moving around the stage, sneakers are just way more practical than heels, which is something we totally appreciate.
