Iggy Azalea has taken a shot at Lorde for her tribute with Nirvana at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in April.

While speaking with Billboard, Azalea said, “Nothing against her, but I think when you’re doing a tribute to someone that’s dead, generally it should be the person’s peer,” Azalea told the magazine. “Lorde is not Kurt Cobain’s peer. No matter if she killed the performance or not, I just don’t think it’s appropriate.”

Lorde has yet to respond to Azalea’s comments.

As part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Lorde joined surviving Nirvana members Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl on stage and provided the vocals to ‘All Apologies.’

For whatever reason, the magazine points out that Azalea seemed to single Lorde out since Joan Jett, St. Vincent and Kim Gordon also joined Novoselic and Grohl on stage.
