Where Rihanna's album cycle is concerned, we might just get two for the price of one.

Rih, whose eighth studio album Anti dropped in 2016, is reportedly gearing up to release Albums 9 *and* 10 very soon. A source told Metro.co.uk that one will include radio hits for which the singer has become famous, while the other will travel a little more off the beaten path for a more chilled-out vibe.

"Rihanna wasn’t happy with how her last album performed, even though she loved how it turned out, she knows she needs a new project full of smash hits to avoid two back-to-back flops," the source said. "She’s currently recording two albums: one full of chart-friendly songs, and another made up of moody and experimental tracks, and is considering releasing a double disc if she feels the songs won’t mesh well on the same album."

(For the record, Anti was hardly a flop — it reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum just days after its release.)

The news comes just days after fans seemed sure that Rihanna was teasing the release of new music.

"Didn't they tell you?" she captioned an Instagram image of two TV sets about a week ago, leading some fans to believe that new tracks were just around the corner.

"EXPLAIN!! What is this? What is happening? I NEED ANSWERS!" wrote one Twitter user, while another asked: "Is this a bra. is this the lingerie line. rihanna i keep telling u im broke and u keep disregarding it. please just give me some music i can't AFFORD anything else."
