It’s Nicki Minaj’s Tattoo!

The tattoo you caught a glimpse of before belongs to the Harajuku Barbie herself, Nicki Minaj. The black symbols that are inked on the songstress' upper left arm are supposedly Chinese, and since Minaj is of Asian ancestry, it's quite an appropriate piece of artwork. 

According to one source (at the website Celebrity Tattoo Design) the Chinese calligraphy translates to 'God Is With Me,' but another source (one of the Barbz's many fansites, New Nicki Minaj) claims the tattoo means 'God Is With Me Always.' Either way, it seems Minaj got this piece of arm ink in order to remind her of her religious roots and to keep her head up during the difficult times.
