Oh no! Much like the title of his upcoming LP 'Cole World: The Sideline Story,' J. Cole is really sidelined with an injury. The Roc Nation rhyme-spitter had to cancel his shows in Florida this past weekend after he reportedly broke his leg, reports the Broward New Times.

According to a statement from Live Nation:

Unfortunately, J. COLE, broke his leg [on September 9] so his Florida shows have all been postponed. This includes Sunday, September 11th at Revolution Live in Ft. Lauderdale. Revolution will honor all current tickets for the new date being scheduled in October. Those requesting refunds for tickets purchased should do so at point of sale.

J. Cole went on his Twitter to apologize to his Floridan fans, but didn't elaborate further on his supposed broken leg. "Friday night in the ER. Damn.. Cole World," he tweeted. "Ankle on swole. This is a minor setback, yo, still in all we livin."

No word on how Cole broke his leg (or is it his ankle?) or if the injury will affect the rest of his 'Cole World' tour schedule. The rapper's next concert dates is on Thursday (Sept. 14) and Friday (Sept. 15) in Houston, TX and New Orleans, respectively. So either he heals that leg up real fast or make announcement to ticket holders soon.

In any case, we wish J. Cole a speedy recovery. Especially, since his debut LP 'Cole World: The Sideline Story' will drop in a couple of weeks (Sept. 27). The rapper can't afford to stay at home nursing a throbbing ankle and not promote his new album.
