J. Lo, Lea Michele Honored at Women of the Year Awards
Jennifer Lopez and 'Glee' starlet Lea Michele were two of the women who attended the 21st Annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards. The award ceremony was held at Carnegie Hall in New York City, and both Lopez and Michele were honored at the event.
J. Lo, who went stag to the ceremony, looked stunning in an off-white beaded gown that showed off her amazing gams. The 'On the Floor' songstress was honored with 'The All-Star' award, and it's really no wonder why. With successful careers in music, film and fashion, J. Lo truly is a jack of all trades in the celeb world. Lopez posed with Glamour's Editor in Chief Cindi Leive and designer Donatella Versace on the red carpet, and later stopped for a few photos holding her red Glamour award.
Lea Michele also looked stunning in a beige beaded gown, and the actress/singer was also honored as one of Glamour's Women of the Year. The magazine labeled her 'The Diva Next Door,' and her 'Glee' co-star Jonathan Groff (who escorted her to the event) said, "In an industry where girls are expected to look and act a certain way, she isn’t afraid to be her own person. She inspires me."
Other female celebs were were honored at the 21st Annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards include television personality and author Chelsea Handler, Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington, and feminist/journalist/activist Gloria Steinem (who received the 'Lifetime Achievement Award').
