James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd may have been eliminated from 'Dancing With the Stars' last night, but before they left, they shared a kiss during their tango routine that will stick in our minds forever.

"We were sick of these fake kisses," Maslow explained to reporters after the 'DWTS' episode on Monday night (quotes via OK! magazine.) "It was a kiss. there's nothing wrong with that. No, I'm sorry, it's a Tango Peck. I think they're going to incorporate that term into the professional ballroom now."

"She's been teaching me a lot of moves," Maslow said of his professional dancing partner, "and I felt I needed to teach her one." Saucy!

As for the disappointing elimination, Maslow revealed:

"Look as sad and as partially frustrated as I am to not be able to compete tomorrow, there's also a sense of relief and excitement that this is the first time in six years that I'm going to be free to do what I want to do, not be under contract," he said. "I came from tour with Big Time Rush right after filming our last season to this show."

"It's been amazing transition for me," he continued. "I get to start my life as an individual."

But big things will soon be on the horizon for Maslow, who is reportedly eyeing a role on Broadway and will star in a digital series called 'Sequester' in the fall, OK! reports.
