Janet Jackson has been forced to pull out of her appearance at the upcoming iHeartRadio Festival, set to take place this weekend in Las Vegas, due to an undisclosed "ear issue."

One of Janet's reps told Billboard, “Due to a recent ear issue preventing her from flying, she is not able to perform at the Festival.”

Janet’s decision to drop out of the festival comes on the heels of another high-profile cancellation -- legendary rock band The Who also pulled out of the iHeartRadio Festival, as frontman Roger Daltrey is said to be suffering from viral meningitis. The band has since been forced to postpone a slew of dates on their North American tour as well.

Thankfully, the rest of Janet’s Unbreakable World Tour dates appear to be unaffected by the cancellation, at least at the moment.

While it’s a bummer that two huge acts have been forced to cancel, iHeartRadio Fest's full roster is still pretty impressive. Artists like Kanye West, Sam Smith, The Weeknd and Demi Lovato are slated to play when the festival hits the MGM Grand Las Vegas on September 18 and 19. If you can't be there for the actual festival, performances from the show will air on the CW on September 28 and 29 at 8 PM EST.
