Javier Colon is still riding high from winning the first season of 'The Voice,' and things are only getting better. The soulful singer says he has already discussed recording music with coach Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green.

During an appearance on the 'TODAY' show, Matt Lauer asked if a collaboration with the Maroon 5 frontman was in the works and Colon replied, “Absolutely, we already talked about it. We’re going to do some things in the studio together … We also talked to Cee Lo. Cee Lo, as well, wants to get together. We’re going to do some fun things. Fun things are in the future.”

As the winner of NBC's hit singing competition series, Colon scored a recording contract with Universal Republic, in addition to a cash prize of $100,000. The father of two released his self-titled debut in 2003 and his sophomore album, 'Left of Center,' in 2006 on Capitol Records, but eventually parted ways with the label.

Colon's original song, 'Stitch By Stitch,' was produced by Rodney Jerkins and peaked at No. 1 on iTunes' Top Songs chart following the final performance episode of 'The Voice.' Colon narrowly beat out Dia Frampton to win the Season 1 title.
