Javier Colon snagged the big win on the finale episode of 'The Voice,' though he was among some very capable competition in Dia Frampton, Beverly McClellan and Vicci Martinez. In his debut single, 'Stitch by Stitch,' the seasoned musician confirms for America and the celebrity judges that they made the right choice.

We knew we loved this tune when Colon belted it for America on the final performance show, but there's just something about a studio version that really curls our toes. That, and the way he tells his lady she's his medicine is sure to make all of the girls weak in the knees.

"I give you all my pieces broken / In your hands there's nothing that you can't fix / My heart is frayed, my scars are open / So put me back together now, stitch by stitch," he sings soulfully in the chorus, capturing our hearts with sweet words and easy-on-the-ears sound.

We echo Cee Lo, who told Colon this track sounds like it was written for him and can't get enough of the quick piano notes that really tie the tune together.

'Stitch by Stitch' is a perfect premiere for Jav's voice, which is the point, but truthfully, we'd love to hear him do something even more upbeat in the future ... Like a Justin Bieber collab, perhaps?
