Jay Sean's latest single 'Hit The Lights' -- from new record 'Freeze Time' due Feb. 15 -- may mark another chart-topping collaboration with Lil Wayne who makes his second appearance alongside the Brit R&B singer.

The inescapable 'Down,' was the artist and rapper's first pairing, reaching No. 1 for two weeks in 2009. Though Sean hasn't matched the same success with 'Do You Remember' or '2012 (It Ain't The End),' both managed to make an impact and keep him in the spotlight.

A club beat and a resounding "Oh oh oh" start 'Lights' off with Jay Sean repeating "hit the lights," followed by an intense, distorted verse:

"Baby hold it / And let me holler at you baby for a moment / And if you with it, I'm with it, we'll keep it rollin' / And we'll be dancing and drinking until the morning."

Jay Sean then steps away from the effects and his true voice takes over the remainder of the verse leading up to the pre-chorus: "Put your lighters in the air / Let 'em burn into the night / And let everybody know that you're with it and ready to go."

Lil Wayne keeps the party vibe strong with his appropriate verse including: "Hit the lights so you could see / My drink is strong, my hooka sweet / Understand the time is now, but time is up the future's bleak / This beat is stupid, cupid / Love me, leave me in the morning / If you like your friend can join in / The wildest flower in the garden."

In a similar spirit to Usher's 'DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love,' this party song will lift the mood and amplify any party scene in the latter months of winter. Sean's silky smooth voice is the perfect match for the upbeat tune, full of swagger and plenty of room for those big notes. J-Remy & Bobbybass have produced Jay Sean's hits since the single 'Down,' solidifying a consistent sound and allowing Sean to leave his stamp on electro-pop dance anthems that are celebrated universally.
