It looks like Jay-Z has found a new side gig when he's not rapping on the mic. The rap mogul was spotted on a bulldozer near the construction site of the Barclays Stadium, which will be the new home of the Brooklyn Nets.

Apparently, Hov was given an inspection of the Brooklyn, N.Y. property on Friday (May 4) as construction on the new stadium is due to be finished in September. TMZ was able to get footage of Jay-Z wheeling a bulldozer. Don't worry, folks, no heavy plowing was involved.

From the looks of the video, the 'Watch the Throne' rapper was actually standing on the side of the bulldozer as a hard hat drove it around the lot at 1 mile per hour. We guess as a precaution the foremen didn't want the rap mogul to handle the heavy equipment. Nevertheless, it shows that Jay-Z is not just a figurehead in the Nets organization, but that he really cares about the team's new home.

This will certainly ruffled the collar of New York Post writer Phil Mushnick, who remains unapologetic about his racist comments toward Jay-Z and the Nets in his column last week.

Hate it or love it, Jay-Z hopes to build a future NBA franchise with the Brooklyn Nets.
