As expected, Jay-Z and Kanye West's collaborative LP 'Watch the Throne has debut on top of the latest Billboard 200 album chart. The collection moved 436,000 copies last week, making it the second-largest sales week of the year for an album, following Lady Gaga's 1.1 million chart premiere of 'Born This Way.'

'Watch the Throne' also had a big week in digital sales as well, grabbing 321,000 downloads during its availability on iTunes from Aug. 8-11 before hitting digital and retail stores on Aug. 12. In total, according to Billboard, 'Throne' sold nearly 290,000 downloads breaking Coldplay's digital record of 282,000 downloads in its first week with their 2008 album, 'Viva La Vida Or Death and All His Friends.'

This latest chart achievement marks Jay-Z’s 12th and Kanye West’s fifth number one albums of their careers.

Congrats to the Throne!
