Tidal hasn’t even been around for a full six months yet, and it’s been criticized by users and the media alike. But the streaming service's number of subscribers just hit the million mark, so Jay Z’s ready to celebrate with a concert featuring some of the biggest acts in the industry.

The show, called Tidal X: 1020, will take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on October 20 and will feature performances from big-name artists like Jay Z, Beyonce, Prince, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Lil Wayne, T.I., Fabolous, Thomas Rhett, Damien Marley, Indochina, Hit-Boy, Alessia Cara and more. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks preceding the concert.

Tickets went on sale today at 12pm EST for all Tidal subscribers. If you want to attend the show and don't have a subscription to the music streaming site, fear not: Tickets to the event will go on sale to the general public this Friday (October 2) at 12pm EST and will cost anywhere from $74 to $244 -- two very different price points.

According to the site, all ticket proceeds will “benefit nonprofit organizations dedicated to advancing positive community relations and effecting systemic change for the development and sustainability of just societies, this inaugural event’s philanthropic focus.”

For those of you who can’t make it to the show, but don’t want to miss out, the entire event will be streamed live from the Barclays center.

You can check out Tidal's official website for more details about the upcoming concert.
