Britney Spears' 2004 hit single 'Toxic' is getting a makeover courtesy of guitar-strumming beauty Jayme Dee. The blond songstress based out of Los Angeles has been posting videos of her intoxicating (pun intended) covers on her YouTube account for years now, and quite frankly we are kicking ourselves that we are just stumbling upon Ms. Jayme Dee now.

In her most recent video post, Jayme takes on Britney's club track 'Toxic.' Ditching the synth and ultra-shrill violin notes, Jayme Dee lets her smoky, alluring voice shine and she strums on her guitar. Jayme Dee transforms the dance-pop tune into a smooth and soulful song, hitting notes that make you have to stop the video to catch your breath. Not to mention that she is drop dead gorgeous!

"So me and my friend kerry were recording this video last night by the beach (hence the waves) where we're staying in South Carolina at 2am & some lady from the resort was yelling at us to shut up and that we were being too loud, but we HAD to record it cause everything was all set up and ready to go. Hoping she wouldn't call the cops, we did this take then ran back to our room," Jayme Dee writes below the video.

If you are craving more of Jayme Dee after watching her 'Toxic' rendition, head over to her YouTube channel to catch more covers. Her videos pull from a plethora of genres, from Radiohead's 'Creep' to Katy Perry's 'E.T.' Be sure to check out her Myspace page too for some original tracks! We have a feeling we will be seeing a lot more from this chanteuse in the near future.
