Jenelle Evans’ Fiance Nathan Griffith Arrested for Domestic Violence
Exactly a week after Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans was arrested for driving with a suspended license, her fiance, Nathan Griffith, was reportedly arrested for domestic violence.
According to Us Weekly, Nathan, 27, and Jenelle, 22, engaged in an altercation yesterday (March 4) at their Myrtle Beach home that ended in the ex-Marine's arrest. The site claims that the arrest report was released today (March 5), which details both sides of the incident.
While Jenelle allegedly told police that Nathan held her "against a toilet and forcibly removed an engagement ring from her finger," Nathan reportedly stated numerous times that he never touched his fiancee and she instead "got upset with him and took the engagement ring off." The arrest report allegedly claims that the reality star, who has reportedly been living in a hotel, got into an argument with Nathan after coming home to grab some of her belongings. She allegedly claims that his attempt to remove her engagement ring cut her finger and that Nathan tried to steal her car keys to leave. (Nathan has previously been arrested for numerous DUIs, WBTW reports.)
Nathan, however, reportedly claims that it was Jenelle who has been violent toward him in numerous incidents, though he never contacted police about these alleged altercations.
WBTW reports that an MTV camera crew were there filming, but allegedly did not see the incident go down.
Jenelle and Nathan, who got engaged in January (the Instagram photo above is from the night they got engaged), are parents to 10-month-old Kaiser. Jenelle is also mom to 5-year-old Jace, who lives with her mom, Barbara. (Jenelle and Babs have been duking it out for custody throughout every season of TM2 thus far.)
Though Jenelle -- who is not one to hold back on social media -- has kept mum about this incident, she did Instagram while at school, captioning the pic, "Just gotta stay focused and accomplish my goals."
As fans of Teen Mom 2 know, this is sadly not Jenelle's first experience with domestic violence. She has been embroiled in altercations with many of her past exes, including Kieffer Delp, Courtland Rogers and Gary Head.
