Apart from her singing career, we almost forgot that Jennifer Hudson is also an actress. That is until the movie poster of her upcoming Winnie Mandela biopic 'Winnie' was posted online.

The poster shows J. Hud and her co-star, Terrence Howard, who plays Nelson Mandela, spending some romantic time together. The 'Where You At' singer stars in the film, which details the life and harrowing times of Ms. Mandela through her childhood and tough marriage to Mandela who was jailed for 27 years in a South African prison. No word on when 'Winnie' will be officially released in theaters here in the United States, although it's making the rounds at several movie festivals.

So far, the 30-year-old songbird has received good reviews for her portrayal as Winnie Mandela. Both The Hollywood Reporter and Variety say that Hudson's performance was the highlight of the film. Variety critic Peter DeBruge writes, "Hudson makes it easy to see why Mandela would find Winnie so attractive."

Meanwhile, Hudson will show off her comedic side in 'The Three Stooges' film by the Farrelly Brothers. J. Hud plays one of the nuns in an orphanage where the Stooges spend most of their time. The three actors playing the knuckle-headed trio are Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe, Sean Hayes as Larry and Will Sasso as Curly. No word if Hudson gives these guys the two-finger eye poke, but the movie itself should be funny.

On the music side, Hudson is prepping her musical tribute to Michael Jackson. The songbird will sing at the upcoming Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert, which takes place on Oct. 8 in Wales.
