See Jennifer Lawrence + Bradley Cooper in First ‘Serena’ Trailer [VIDEO]

Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper are teaming up yet again, this time for the upcoming movie 'Serena.' The film's first trailer just dropped, and from what we can see, it's going to be our favorite movie from the pair.

According to Vulture, the movie is set in the the late 1920s and early 1930s in North Carolina, focusing on a newlywed couple working to build a timber empire. The site gives a concise -- and intriguing -- summary of the plot: "Their ambition is all-consuming and dangerous — neither is afraid to kill or destroy anyone who opposes them — but they're turned against each other when Serena finds she can't bear children and then launches a deadly vendetta against her husband's illegitimate son."

Yep, this sounds interesting. The trailer hints at the intense drama ahead, but also shows the gorgeous scenery and the beautiful period costumes. We may be familiar with Brad and Jennifer, but we've never seen them like this before.

The Huffington Post reports that the movie is headed to U.K. theaters on Oct. 24, but has no U.S. release date yet.
