Jennifer Lopez compared her relationship with her ex Marc Anthony to another megafamous former Hollywood couple of yesteryear. The 'American Idol' judge likened her friendship and business partnership with Anthony to none other than '60s icons Sonny and Cher.

The exes, who star together in 'Q'Viva!,' a Univision talent competition show showcasing Latin American singers and dancers, get along so well that on the show it's hard to tell that they're not married anymore ... until a producer asks them about it point blank, to which the gracious Lopez replied that it's "very Sonny and Cher after the divorce."

E! Online's Marc Malkin reports that later on in the show, Anthony muses on their bond and says that he and J. Lo are "meant to be" in each others' lives, adding that "Marriage is one chapter, kids are another."

The news is a refreshing change from what we're used to hearing about the friendly exes. Prior to last week's awkward reunion at the Television Critics Association, reports flew that Anthony threw fits about Lopez’s new beau, Casper Smart -- and that he even planned a ferocious custody battle to hurt the ‘On the Floor' singer.

We're so happy to see that they're getting along ... and secretly hoping for an 'I Got You Babe' cover!
