Jennifer Lopez Experiences Technical Difficulties Performing at Wango Tango

Jennifer Lopez may have been performing her single 'On the Floor' while literally on the floor at KIIS FM's Wango Tango concert on Saturday night in Los Angeles, but her microphone was off for a chunk of the performance. Yikes! Can someone say "technical difficulties?" But Lopez was not knocked off her game by the microphone malfunction.

Rather than run off stage a la Ashlee Simpson on 'Saturday Night Live' a few years back, Lopez -- who poured her famously curvy body into a skintight, silver and shimmery metallic catsuit with lots of intricate webbing and lattice -- was a consummate professional as she proved to the prominent entertainment industry adage that the show must go on.

J. Lo didn't miss beat, singing and dancing without so much as a pause; in essence, she was performing as though nothing had happened. Perhaps the 'American Idol' judge and pop diva didn't notice or realize that her mic cut out or perhaps she took a big breath and just kept on doing her thing until the power went back on to keep things rolling as planned.

We hope that the remaining three 'American Idol' contestants were watching, because La Lopez just taught them another invaluable, intangible lesson.
