Jessie J opens up about meeting fellow Briton Tinie Tempah for the first time in a new video from VEVO's emerging artist series, LIFT.

"I met Tinie Tempah on my first television debut in the UK on ['Later... with Jools Holland']," she says. "And he's lovely -- such a cool guy. He's the only person that I let wear sunglasses indoors."

The pop singer continues to gush about the rapper's debut single, 'Pass Out,' and how the two breakout stars have the same sense of humor. Beyond laughs, Jessie and Tinie have shared the stage together, but the fast friends are looking to immortalize their relationship with a musical collaboration.

"I definitely think me and Tinie Tempah are going to hook up in the studio," the Essex native projects. "I've wanted to work with him for ages -- it's just trying to find the time. "

Jessie J was the first artist selected for the VEVO LIFT program, which incorporates its video platform with a  social media initiative. Over the course of eight weeks, the singer was prominently promoted on the site and featured in exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and video premieres.

Jessie J's latest interview is a symbolic passing-of-the-torch to Tinie Tempah, who has been chosen as the next LIFT artist. "As I was the first person to do VEVO LIFT, I would like to name myself the ambassa-DIVA!" she adds emphatically. "... But I think [Tinie Tempah's] going to be a great ... what could we call him ... An ambassa- ... an ambassa-DUDE."
