In the early days of Bravo's Real Housewives franchise, Bethenny Frankel was not a multi-millionaire. She was an entrepreneur struggling to get her food biz off the ground. And she was best friends with Real Housewives of New York City pioneer Jill Zarin. Although the two ultimately had a falling out from which they never recovered, Zarin (who left RHONY) still remembers Frankel's influence on her life.

When asked on Watch What Happens Live last week (June 14) why Zarin looks younger than her years, she replied,  “...[L]ess hairspray, and I used to add hair and I had too much makeup on. You know, Bethenny [Frankel] was right about that, for sure. It was too much. She was.”

Zarin also attributed her evergreen looks to dermatologist Pat Wexler. She additionally told WWHL viewers, “I had a breast reduction after season 2 or 3, and I appeared to lose weight.”

It's often seemed that Zarin would be open to reconciliation with frenemy Frankel, but so far, it hasn't happened. She did mention during her WWHL appearance that if she could again touch base with Frankel, "I think I would say, ‘I don’t even remember what it [the fight] was about.’ I don’t even remember what we fought about. I really don’t. I’d give her a hug and a kiss, absolutely."

That's an embrace we'd love to see. If Frankel can forgive RHONY co-star Ramona Singer (notwithstanding current episodes) so many times for her repeated transgressions, surely she can give Zarin some time to chat with her over a round of Skinnygirl margaritas.
