Adam Levine Reveals Why He Never Does Drugs ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Adam Levine took to the stage on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' and as anyone who's ever seen 'The Voice' knows, he's a bit of a hoot. When he chatted with comic Kimmel, it got hilarious pretty quickly.

Levine revealed that he's in the middle of moving and that his pals are helping him out with it ... but that he's not paying them for it, nor would he reciprocate the favor.

Our favorite vignette? Levine's admission of using prescription drugs with one of his Maroon 5 bandmates and what happened when they did.

"We had a brief experience with what I guess was Ambien ... I shouldn't tell this story. James Valentine and I, we didn't know what it was, so we figured we'd take it to sleep." Kimmel grilled, "Where'd you get it?" to which Levine replied, "Relax! I can't divulge everything to you!"

He continued, "We foolishly thought, 'We'll take it because we're going to go to sleep.' We took it and we were at Denny's," he said sheepishly. "We were at Denny's in some shady part of the city, and I'll never forget this, because I ordered Moons Over Miami -- we both ordered the same thing, it's a fabulous entree if you've never tried it -- and we woke up, at the table, what must have been an hour later. I don't know how long -- Moons Over Miami comes with cheese, and the cheese was like plastic," he explained. "Like hardened plastic. I woke up first and I kinda saw James there and I'm like, 'Oh no,' and James had his head down, so I'm kind of like, 'Hey man, hey -- we should get out of here.'"

He added, "We didn't eat our food, we just paid our bill and sheepishly made our way out of there. Since then, I've never done drugs."

Other highlights? Being BFFs with Jonah Hill in school, not being able to give away Maroon 5 CDs when they started on tour with Sheryl Crow and hunting with Blake Shelton.
